The Ipswich State High School has adopted Howard Gardner's Five Minds for the Future as the basis for its Curriculum Framework. Society's future leaders need to be able to develop certain ways of thinking and working which allow them to bring their best to any situation. Professor Gardner describes these as five minds - THE DISCIPLINED MIND; THE SYNTHESISING MIND; THE CREATIVE MIND; THE RESPECTFUL MIND; AND THE ETHICAL MIND.
