The Australian School of The Arts (ASTA)

The Australian School of The Arts (ASTA) is a state-of-the art program that includes the ASTA Academy and the audition based ‘Professionals’ Arts Excellence program. ASTA caters for students in Prep to Year 12 across all facets of Arts Education, including Music, Visual Art, Drama, Dance, Voice, Film and Television and Musical Theatre at Sheldon College. The ASTA program has over 1000 students enrolled across all of these facets of the Arts.

The Aviation and Space Academy

In launching this Academy, we have been able to provide students with the opportunity to commence studies in Aviation as well as expand their knowledge and skill in relation to Space Design and Engineering.

To facilitate training in Aviation, we have partnered with the Australian Wings Academy (AWA) based at the Gold Coast Airport. Programs include Work Experience, scholarships, Aviation traineeships and pathways into a Diploma of Aviation, which will include a Private Pilot’s Licence.

The Triathlon School of Excellence in partnership with Triathlon Australia.

In partnership with Triathlon Australia, Sheldon College is Australia's first Triathlon School of Excellence, developed in order to deliver a pathway to your child's triathlon success.

This historic alliance offers school age students world class coaching and facilities under the full time direction of Triathlon Australia's Athlete Development Program.




Sheldon College invites you to attend a free workshop to design, create and solve challenges using LittleBits, Drones and Ozobots. You will become an inventor in the Sheldon College STEAM MakerSpace. The workshop will involve: 

  • Invent a bubble machine and create a remote controlled drawing bot Program Drones and Ozobots to complete the day’s challenge 
  •  Create your very own invention using our STEAM inspired resources Showcase your inventions during our Parent Showcase Afternoon
