Christian Education

Grace Christian School seeks to provide an excellent, Christ-centred education to students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The school has a strong academic focus, while developing and nurturing a Christian worldview that challenges the thinking and responses of our students.

Our dedicated Christian staff is committed to the holistic development of students in their care. Teachers place great emphasis on building relationships with students that encourage mutual respect, co-operative learning and a positive self image.

Early Childhood

We believe that children need to understand who they are and see the world around them in the context of the truth of the Bible, and a God who loves them. Teaching and learning becomes truly effective in this context.

Grace is committed to see that each child has the greatest possible opportunity for their personal development and academic success.

The early years provide the best environment for these important aspects to be established in a child's life and can set them up for a fulfilling future. We believe there is no more important phase in a child education.

Student Development

Our new classrooms are well-equipped with computers and electronic whiteboards to create a stimulating environment.

Students with special needs are nurtured in our Gifted and Talented Programme and in our Educational Support Unit. Dedicated teachers bring out the best in each child.

Students are guided by caring Christian teachers to respect God, themselves and others. As they grow in their knowledge of Scripture, they develop Christian values like honesty, self-control and tolerance. In this supportive environment, students feel happy and secure and are willing to extend their horizons.

Lower Secondary

Academic excellence is a primary goal of the school providing sound education in the core subjects and broadening students' knowledge and skills through elective subjects such as cooking, Indonesian and advanced computing. A Christian worldview drives the ethos of the school, underpins the content and purpose of learning and defines all relationships within the school community.

Students are encouraged to pursue opportunities to serve the Lord and others and use their God-given gifts to impact His world.

Senior School

Grace seeks to cater for individual needs and interests by providing a range of academic options for upper secondary students. Flexibility is provided through the choice of a full school programme culminating in the Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE) in their chosen subjects, or a combined school and TAFE programme which enables students to achieve their WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education). Students are also able to choose a full time school program without sitting the TEE examination.

Students are supported and nurtured by a well qualified team of Christian staff who guide students academically and spiritually, facilitating their transition to tertiary study, the working world and life beyond school.
