Our School

Red Rock Christian College is an independent, Christian school for students in Prep to Year 10 with VCEs starting in 2021. The school is situated in the beautiful, semi-rural outskirts of Sunbury. This outstanding environment encourages creative, dynamic play.
At Red Rock we aim to encourage, challenge and inspire each student to learn, develop in character and understand the world in which they live. As a Christian school we seek to work with parents and guardians to develop principled, thoughtful and analytical young people who are empowered to influence their world with integrity.

We believe in actively preparing our students to influence their world from the day they join us. We provide them with a safe, nurturing environment that teaches them to explore, ask questions, think deeply, to respect others and to be just and compassionate.
We believe learners develop understanding through meaningful engagement and real life application. Our goal is to have learners that take personal responsibility for their learning, collaborate with their peers and teachers, become excellent problem solvers and team players through developing the skills and habits of mind they will need in the future.
Our staff are committed to providing a safe environment in which positive and trusting relationships are established and in which children flourish.

Student Leadership

All students are given opportunity to develop leadership qualities such as personal responsibility, peer support, clear communication skills and respect.
Students are encouraged to contribute to the school community through leadership teams. These teams provide ongoing opportunity to learn and practice leadership.

Christian Education

The development of the whole child requires that we are deliberate about the beliefs and values of their home and school environment.
In an age where there is much talk about values but little recognition or understanding of where they come from we aim for our students to understand that our beliefs underlie our values and our values inform the way we behave, the attitudes we express and the character we develop.
As a Christian school our beliefs affect how we teach, what we teach, how we relate to one another and the aspirations we have for our students. Essential to this is that our beliefs are lived and modelled by all staff including teachers, support staff and administrators.
