Our School

Murraylands Christian College- Murray Bridge is a co-educational school offering a balanced education for students from Kindergarten through to year 7.

Murraylands Christian College opened in 2000 and has grown into a caring school community, set in spacious grounds with modern facilities.

Our Values

Murraylands Christian College was born out of a desire to see young people grow up in a Christ-centered environment. It is the aim of Murraylands Christian College to support both parents and the local church in developing the Christian character of young people and equipping them with appropriate academic, physical and leadership skills.

Curriculum

Murraylands Christian College has a strong emphasis on the core subjects of Numeracy and Literacy throughout all year levels. We also offer Arts, Humanities, IT and Language (French). There are extension groups and a strong Special Education Team to allow all students to reach their potential.

Extra Curricular activities

At Murraylands Christian College there are opportunities for students to engage in areas of learning outside of the daily classroom activities through a range of programs including a ‘Selectives’ program. This program offers a range of subjects such as Cooking, Textiles, Drama, Gardening and Indigenous Studies to all students. Additional tuition is available in Music and Choir. The College encourages participation in Sports at local, regional and state levels.

Special Features

Murraylands Christian College has many modern facilities including a new Hall for assemblies and sporting activities. Speakers are frequently invited to the college to address the students and students are regular visitors at local nursing homes.

Leadership qualities are also greatly encouraged in our year 6/7 pupils; offering them the opportunity to excel in their position as senior students of our college.

Murraylands Christian College also provides a bus service which covers Murray Bridge and the surrounding district.
