Hills Adventist College - Kellyville

Kellyville Campus

Hills Adventist College is a dual-campus college.

Our Kellyville campus was established in 2011 to facilitate growth to a full Kindergarten to Year 12 school. Our Castle Hill campus continued to offer an Early Learning Centre and Junior School (K–4), however Middle School (Year 5–8) and Senior School (Year 9–12) were relocated to 10 acres at North Kellyville. Soon, it became apparent with an abundance of new development in the North Kellyville area, that an additional Junior School would also be needed at the Kellyville campus. So, in 2018 the first Kindergarten class at Kellyville began. We are now a bustling Kindergarten to Year 12 college at Kellyville, while Castle Hill offers an Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten to Year 5. In 2024, Year 6 will be added at Castle Hill.

We create this environment through appreciation for individual needs, respect for the children in our care and support for their values and opinions. Through this approach, Hills Adventist College will help your child to reach their full potential whilst developing self-esteem and an appreciation for the needs of others.

We believe developing character is the foundation of lifelong success. That’s why we emphasise service and Christian values alongside academic, artistic and sporting excellence.

We believe in developing confident students who know their purpose, have the strength to lead, and have hearts for service. That’s why we give our Senior students opportunities to discover, lead and serve in the local community and even on overseas service trips.

A Learning Environment

Hills Adventist College teaches students to become life-long learners. Many students today will perform jobs during their lifetime that haven't even been created yet and this requires them to know how to learn and adapt to new experiences.

Our students demonstrate a high level of competence in basic skills, indicated by standardised test results and awards in academic competitions.

Hills Adventist College Kellyville campus has well-resourced classrooms and specialist teaching areas to provide ideal learning environments that allow students to develop the expertise needed for today’s world.

At Hills Adventist College we value creativity. This is fostered and affirmed in our art and music programs. Students can be part of the school band, as well as having the opportunity for individual music tuition.

An active lifestyle is an important part of our school program at Hills Adventist College. Our PE program fosters consistent fitness and our students benefit from the expertise of specialist instructors in gymnastics and athletics. Our annual Swimming and Athletics Carnivals are great events for uniting school and family, and our ASISSA membership (All Suburbs Independent Schools Sporting Association) gives the students at Hills Adventist College the challenge of inter-school competition.

Middle School

Middle School at Hills Adventist College is designed to provide students with a 'safety net' that enables them to develop as they embrace new experiences with assurance; knowing that they have the necessary support networks available. Utilising a process of staged transition that prepares students for Senior School, our staff work hard to ensure they become more independent and self-reliant throughout their Middle and Senior school years.

Our Middle School provides a fluid transition academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spirituality within the College environment.

Middle School teachers genuinely care about their students, enabling each child to develop their unique identity and abilities.

Wellbeing

Here at Hills Adventist College we are committed to providing quality and inclusive learning opportunities for all our students, placing a high level of importance on nurturing student wellbeing and positive mental health.

We have a strong team of experienced Teachers, Chaplains and Counsellors who take the time to get to know and understand each student. They provide mentorship, guidance and foster in students a sense of belonging and involvement which helps them develop a strong sense of positive wellbeing.

Extra Curricular

Students have the opportunity to participate in various extra-curricular and after school activities at the College.

Music Tuition is available for students who would like to learn an instrument. This is facilitated by private tutors that attend the College during the day, to save you transporting your child to music tuition after school. Costs and availability can be discussed with the tutor directly.

After school activities such as soccer, coding and robotics, Mandarin class, and dance classes are also available during school terms.
