In 2022, Silkwood launched its dedicated Senior School campus for Years 10-12 located in Robina; the perfect launchpad for our senior students to branch out into the world to explore their interests, passions and potential post-school pathways with ease. ?Accessibility is key when connecting with mentors, participating in internships, and attending TAFE and University taster courses. |

We are driven to get to know each young person, to understand who they want to be and who they can be. We help them explore and participate in real-world learning to build life skills, discover things they are passionate about and achieve their own most meaningful version of success.
The Silkwood Way approach uses small class sizes, innovative learning styles, and real-world mentors and learning experiences to intentionally enhance the learning adventure for every student.
We are re-imagining education, reclaiming a love of learning for young people and preparing our students for a changing workforce and world. We are transforming how students and families engage with education. This is The Silkwood Way!

Silkwood prides itself on inspiring students to explore, innovate and thrive on their learning adventure.
We value young people’s learning time, we value them as individuals, and we want to make a difference to their lives through offering a meaningful learning adventure that is relevant for the world they are growing into.
Success in the 21st-century will require design thinkers, innovators, change agents, and entrepreneurs – people who are able and empowered to adapt in a quickly changing world. |

Silkwood School is an inclusive and secular school.
Silkwood provides an equal playground: to play, believe, converse, and think. We are openly inclusive and respectful of everyone’s beliefs when it is not impacting or replacing societal laws, human rights, or harmful to people.
At Silkwood we provide an open ground where different types of faith and philosophy can be discussed and explored openly, freely and respectfully. |

Silkwood School is part of Kombumerri country and the wider Yugambeh language region. We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and their capacity and resilience as Aboriginal custodians.
The respect and intuition our traditional custodians have for our land has provided inspiration for Silkwood’s learning programs and spaces. We work closely with our traditional custodians and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mentors to visibly and authentically embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories within our school gaureima (story), learning programs and our physical environment.
