Northern Beaches Secondary College Mackellar Girls Campus has the distinction of a second Director General's Award for Excellence in Gifted and Talented Education. Our lighthouse program comprises an academic enrichment and extension program and programs for talented students in the areas of dance, music, visual arts and sport.

Modern Facilities

The modern facilities at Northern Beaches Secondary College Mackellar Girls Campus provides an enriched learning environment for our students.

Our technology is state of the art, with wireless connections throughout the school, video conferencing facilities and interactive whiteboards and computer hubs and rooms, also throughout the school, including in our extensively resourced library.

Northern Beaches Secondary College Mackellar Girls Campus is well equipped with six science laboratories, a woodwork centre and two kitchens, one of them a brand new fully commercial kitchen for the delivery of TAFE Hospitality Courses.

Our multi-purpose centre is utilised as a hall, gymnasium, dance centre and meeting space. A new Performance Space Centre is in high demand for drama, music and dance , as is our purpose-built Dance Centre.

The sports program at Northern Beaches Secondary College Mackellar Girls Campus is well catered for with outdoor netball courts, an indoor multi-courts area, a playing field and a gymnasium with weights room.
