At Abbotsleigh we are committed to academic excellence, wellbeing, and the fostering of positive relationships and service.
Believing in educating ‘the whole girl’, our dedicated and talented teachers aim for every girl to experience rich and deep learning both within and the beyond the classroom. Our girls love to learn and love to be involved and to participate in a myriad of activities from sport, music, dance and drama, debating, public speaking to SRC, robotics, social justice and special interest clubs, CRU and so much more.
We teach our girls to ask questions, grapple with ideas, debate, take risks and reflect on their learning. However, this is not ‘surface level’ learning, or learning at ‘face value’. There are facts and there are opinions. Abbotsleigh girls learn how to delve deeply, solve difficult problems and develop sophisticated, conceptual understanding.
Abbotsleigh’s supportive environment encourages our girls to be resilient, independent, and to strive and reach for her true potential to achieve her personal best. |
