Beverly Hills Girls High School is a single sex government school offering quality education for girls in the south west region of Sydney.

We have a strong welfare structure to care for our population of over 1000 students and provide a wide range of subjects to suit their diverse needs, interests and abilities.

A Unique Curriculum

Our school comprises of students from diverse cultural backgrounds and has a co-educational Intensive English Centre (BHIEC) on site. A distinguishing feature of the school is the model for delivery of the junior curriculum: Unitised Vertically Integrated Semester System (UVISS).

This innovative model allows for curriculum diversity, extension and acceleration of gifted and talented students and support and ESL programs that respond to the evolving needs and interests of students. Students enrolled in our School through the International Students Program have a record of high achievement.

Our flexible timetable model is driven by student choice and lessons are delivered by experienced and dedicated teachers. High expectations for student achievement and the provision of quality learning opportunities is our school’s proud focus.

Teachers and students have embraced technology as a tool for enhancing learning. Our Year 9 and 10 Laptops for Learning program has been effectively integrated into all subject areas and we have dedicated multi-media facilities that provide opportunities for all students to develop their skills in technology for the future.

Academic Achievement - In the 2009 HSC 46 students were listed in the Board of Studies Distinguished Achievers' List. Eighteen students achieved ATARs over 90 and of the 148 eligible students, 102 received a university placement offer. Over 90% of our students are engaged in full time tertiary study at university, TAFE or private colleges/providers.
NAPLAN - The school has consistently performed well above regional average in NAPLAN Literacy and Numeracy results for Years 7and 9.
Vocational Training –As part of our commitment to providing diverse and specialised learning opportunities, we offer range of vocational educational and TAFE delivered courses to suit individual learning needs.
Sporting – Sport and fitness is promoted in our school, with students performing well at all levels in athletics, swimming, cross country and interschool competitions.
Leadership – We are proud of our continued success in promoting student leadership. The strength of our active and dedicated Student Representative Council and Peer Support programs is widely acknowledged in the region.
