Learning Support and Development plays an integral role in the academic sphere of All Saints Grammar School.
Our Wellbeing for Learning approach is based on the understanding that students learn best when they feel happy and safe, and that each child requires tailored quality education. Therefore we provide a growth mindset learning environment, where each individual can develop their socialisation skills whilst striving for academic excellence. We strive to equip students to develop their self-concept, attain a healthy level of self-esteem, and achieve high self-efficacy awareness.
Students in Year 7 participate in an Orientation Program, Year 9 a Peer Support Program and Years 10, 11 and 12 undertake a variety of pastoral, social and academic based retreats. All Saints Grammar also offers a number of specialist programs, which cater for a broad range of abilities to ensure that each students is afforded the opportunity to flourish and develop their unique talents.

Students with individual needs are recognised and supported through their Individual Adjustment Plans which detail a specialised program to meet their needs. This involves communication with teachers, families and specialists on a regular basis in order to maintain a collaborative approach to learning ensuring that a student with recognised needs has access to an adjusted curriculum and assessment program that includes any special arrangements at HSC level.
Support to a student can be given in a variety of ways dependent upon their academic and social needs. This includes consistent classroom support, one on one programs or small group interventions.
Working collaboratively with classroom teachers enables the Learning Support Team to identify and support the individual needs of students by removing barriers to their understanding and progress so that they have increased opportunity to reach their full learning potential.
