Faith Lutheran College

From humble beginnings of just 40 students in 1999, Faith Lutheran College has grown to be the leading choice for Christian secondary co-education in the Lockyer Valley. Today, enrolments have grown to over 700 students, while Faith continues to focus on the needs, interests and talents of each individual. Faith has built a strong reputation for providing the balance required to ensure each student has the opportunity to reach their potential.

Values Education at Faith

Through an emphasis on the values of grace, respect, care, faith, service and honour, Faith Lutheran College offers a diverse curriculum and co-curricular program. A variety of opportunities exist to participate in sport, music, robotics, languages, dance and a number of other co-curricular areas, while Faith Lutheran College also provides pathways for elite and talented students to achieve their best in their chosen field.

“An education at Faith is an education in more than just academics”, says Principal Doug Braiden. “Through a focus on relationships, we encourage students to become caring and resilient adults, and emphasise the importance of service to their community”.

“Graduates of Faith Lutheran College depart the College with practical skills and qualifications they can use to start their adult life. They are given every opportunity to complete a certificate qualification or get a head start on university alongside their senior studies, and are well equipped to enter the workforce or university study when they leave us”.

State of the Art Facilities

Just a few of the benefits of the Faith Lutheran College campus include a full commercial grade hospitality kitchen, a state of the art Trade Training Centre, a newly constructed national Olympic standard Sports Complex and extra built sporting facilities. Modern learning technologies are integrated throughout the College and used in a blended teaching approach to deliver curriculum in a dynamic and engaging way. Faith Lutheran College also have their own bus fleet, transporting students to and from the College safely and efficiently each day.
