Dubbo Christian School (DCS) has partnered with parents for over 35 years to deliver high-quality, responsive education from pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. We work alongside parents to equip children to be transformational with a heart for Christ. It is our great joy to be with children in their education journey while celebrating Christ’s lordship over our world.
Established in 1983 (and nearing our 40th year!), DCS holds great tradition and heritage that was instilled in our school those many years ago. This is seen in strong foundational values and principles that are still celebrated today. Many of our current students are the second generation to go through our school. This legacy is coupled with modern development and innovation. We are seeing great growth not only in our enrolments and grounds, but also in the way we teach and learn. Currently we have approximately 570 students from Preschool to Year 12.
DCS fosters a caring culture that seeks the best outcomes for every student. With the expertise and aide of gifted teachers and Student Learning Support Officers, students are nurtured and challenged to reach their potential and achieve great results. In practice, this is seen in the offering of extension classes and individual education plans.
Throughout all of this, we celebrate Christ’s sovereignty over everything. We take any opportunity to acknowledge this in our classrooms and school grounds, and during our weekly whole-school Assembly we celebrate this with a time of worship. |

Dubbo Christian School is committed to providing schooling that is Bible-based and Christ-centred. Our aim is to partner with parents in the nurturing of their children, as they bring them up in the ‘training and admonition of the Lord’ (Ephesians 6:4). All staff are practicing Christians, representing many churches in our area. |

Hard work, service, leadership and community involvement are all key expectations of our students. We develop each through targeted programs and activities. Combined with this, a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities are offered in sporting, cultural and special interest areas. Students at DCS are encouraged to find their gifts and talents and are challenged to develop them through the range of opportunities available to them. |
