Mornington Secondary College provides a “real” learning environment designed to meet the needs of each student as an individual. The courses offered are designed to inspire, and prepare students for their future beyond the classroom. Students are supported to achieve at the highest academic levels and strong VCE pathways are offered. A range of vocational education and VCAL courses are also available, ensuring that all students are well prepared to make important decisions about their future in partnership with their families.
The college boasts state of the art facilities on 28 acres of expansive and attractive grounds, an indoor heated swimming pool, 3-court basketball stadium and a performing arts theatre. A comprehensive and affordable notebook leasing program ensures that the latest ICT technology is within the reach of all students.

Each of our three sub-schools is headed by a team of dedicated, experienced teachers. A customised learning centre has been established for our Junior School, with a focus on developing strong interpersonal relationships and a sense of belonging. Broad Horizons operates at year 9 and allows students to experience an alternative “real life” learning environment off campus around the themes of community, challenge and leadership. |

The Senior School prides itself on a strong work ethic, based around our motto, Dare to Dream. Pursuing excellence is at the core of our learning programs, with our Gold Star and DreamCatchers program supporting high achievers. The development of whole school literacy, numeracy and curriculum focuses on developing academic rigour and high expectations. VCE results are high with students consistently achieving ATARs of 90+. |

Successful learning occurs when students are motivated, engaged and connected to their college, their community and their education. College sport and physical education programs cater for a wide variety of interests and skills and students are encouraged to participate in before and after school clubs, leadership, community, musical, performance and artistic programs. It doesn’t matter what a student’s interest may be, there is a club or activity offered that any student can be a part of. |

The college ambassador program provides opportunities for students to develop personal and social skills. The program incorporates leadership at all levels of the college including, School Captains, Vice-Captains, Sub-school leaders and arts, curriculum, music and sports ambassadors. Our goal is to develop capable and confident leaders of the future. |
