Education with a Trade Focus

The Australian Trade College North Brisbane is a unique alternative for Yr 11 & 12 students that allow them to start their trade career at the end of Year 10 and study for their Queensland Certificate of Education at the same time.

The College has been established as a co-educational and independent training and education college which focuses on creating a rich trade-based environment to engage the student-apprentices in a supportive learning atmosphere.

Being a Registered Training Organisation allows the College to train student-apprentices in their trade area to Certificate III level.

As a registered secondary school the College offers a Senior Secondary curriculum that is tailored to suit the trade areas and also meets the Queensland Studies Authority’s requirements for Queensland Certificate of Education eligibility.

This unique structure has been developed to suit the needs of the student-apprentices and employers and accelerates student-apprentices’ trade training and full-time work placement.
