Calrossy Anglican School is a dynamic leader in regional education, located in the thriving city of Tamworth, in North West NSW. We have been at the forefront of quality education for more than a century.
Calrossy is a unique Prep to Year 12 school, operating across two academic campuses, with Secondary Girls and Boys Boarding and a fully functioning school farm. Calrossy has 1000 students and Boarding has always been at the heart of Calrossy.
A Calrossy education is one shaped on a focus of success and wellbeing for every student, at every stage. It is a journey where every individual girl and boy is valued and supported.
Students have access to a diverse range of co-curricular opportunities both within Calrossy and the community. These include wide ranging sports from rugby, equestrian, netball, hockey, basketball, cricket, gymnastics, dance, bouldering, archery, soccer and many more. Calrossy also boasts dynamic cultural and agricultural pursuits featuring music, creative and performing arts, primary industry programs and our own cattle and sheep studs.

The Calrossy journey is one focussed on the success and well being of every student, from Preschool to Year 12. It is a journey where every individual girl and boy is valued and supported to learn, grow and serve and be prepared for life beyond school.
Our unique structure sees boys and girls work together in Prep to Year 6, with Years 7 - 9 in single gender classes on the sprawling William Cowper Campus.
Our Year 10 - 12 students are in co-educational classes on the historic specialised Senior Campus at Brisbane Street.
It is a model that has been carefully constructed to target the learning, wellbeing and social needs of the genders at every age, as they move through their learning journey.
It has been described as the best of coeducational and single gender learning. It has been designed to support students so they thrive at every stage of schooling.
A Message From The Principal
Calrossy Anglican School has been successfully educating students for more than 100 years. In a rapidly changing and diverse world, the School experience has changed but we remain focused on preparing our young men and women to succeed in the world they will enter. We are strongly committed to a rigorous academic program and preparation of students for life beyond school but there is much more to Calrossy than the classroom. We also focus on the character of our students, promoting their wellbeing and supporting engagement in a range of activities. The student experience is rich and diverse, designed to be one that enables students to prepare for the future and flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

Boarding Life
With just under one-third of our Secondary students calling Calrossy home during the school term, Boarding is at the core of the School's Secondary operations. Calrossy prides itself on offering vast opportunities and proven Wellbeing structures for girls and boys across two boarding campuses
Benefiting from its central North West location, Calrossy families are able to achieve a balance between accessing quality education and all the other opportunities which Tamworth and the region has to offer
A Calrossy Education From Home
A quality education from the convenience of home!
Calrossy has a new distance education program, to help bridge the gap between students wanting a quality education, in a supported and connected environment but who are unable to attend traditional school for a number of reasons, be it working on the farm, demanding extra curricular activities or they are just not ready for boarding.
eCalrossy began in 2021 and is now being offered from Year 5 through to Year 9.
