Macarthur Anglican School is a Christian school that seeks to demonstrate God’s love for all people. Central to this is the gospel or “good news” about Jesus Christ. Christian values and attitudes are central to our School community and are integrated across our curriculum.
While many families at Macarthur are regularly involved in their own church, our school has a mixture of people from other faiths and beliefs.
The School Chaplaincy team in partnership with our Heads of House, offer support and care to our students and their families.
Based upon the model provided for us by Christ, our students learn about service from their earliest years, which teaches them values and gives them a higher purpose in life.
Year 6 students may participate in the North Queensland Outreach each year and there is a large and active Community Service Team.
