Welcome to our School
It is a great pleasure to introduce you to HopePoint
Christian School. For the last 42 years our school has
been partnering with families to deliver high quality and
affordable Christian Education in the Georges River area.
HopePoint has a unique, intangible spirit that everyone
talks about. It’s more than just our strong sense of
community, inspiring chapel services, excellent teaching,
and personalised attention. We aim to not only educate
our students but to nurture their character as well.
We are unique in that we are one of only a small number of Christian schools in Sydney that is K-6. Being exclusively primary has many advantages. It allows us to focus our attention on doing primary schooling very well. We make sure our teachers are up to date with the latest research that is so pivotal in the early years, giving our children a firm foundation for life beyond Primary school. At the end of Year 6, our students are ready for high school and all the challenges that lie ahead.
I know that choosing a school for your child is one of the
biggest decisions you will make. Our school has been
called to support, nurture, teach and inspire your children
to be all that God has created and called them to be.
The next five years are exciting ones for our school as
we seek to upgrade our facilities and continue to deliver
quality teaching and learning in a nurturing Christian

Our Vision
We are a Christian Educational Community where children flourish as their unique qualities are developed so that they live out their God-given potential.
Sport
Students at HopePoint are able to participate in numerous sporting carnivals and gala days at a school, zone and state level. Students not only have the opportunity to improve and showcase their physical skills at these events but also display a Godly spirit by displaying good sportsmanship both on and off the sporting grounds. At HopePoint your child will be offered the opportunity to participate in many different sports, such as netball, soccer, AFL, dance and basketball.
Creative & Performing Arts
HopePoint is known for their incredible musicals, held every two years. Our musicals are grand-scale productions that bring together the entire school community to showcase students talents within the performing arts. Every student has the opportunity to be a part of our school musical, with students in Years 3-6 having the eligibility to audition for singing and speaking roles.
Clubs
At HopePoint, we provide a wide range of clubs and interest groups, catering to the different interests and passions of our students. At the beginning of each term students get to elect which club they would like to be a part of. During this time, students will actively engage and participate in projects that enhance their skills in that particular area. Some of our clubs include chess, gardening, Spanish, choir, dance, art and computer coding.
