The Moreton Bay Boys' College curriculum is designed around the specific ways boys learn, the emotional support they need to maximise their potential and a program of wide ranging opportunities - opening up a world of possibilities for the boys.

Moreton Bay Boys' College believes in developing not just the mind, but also the heart, and sets the boys on a journey of self discovery, where they learn to connect with and manage the world around them. We follow the Australian Curriculum within an IB World school framework.

Student care programs at Moreton Bay Boys' College operate at every year level. Highly qualified staff have a genuine belief in helping boys achieve their best, to find their passion and purpose.

Broad, Rich Curriculum

Moreton Bay Boys’ College offers enriched, engaging programs from Prep to Year 12, providing tools for lifelong learning. Strong focus is given to literacy, numeracy, science and thinking skills.

Learning enhancement and support at Moreton Bay Boys' College cater to the different academic needs of boys. An extensive, flexible range of academic and vocational pathways is offered for seniors (Y10-Y12), which accommodates individual boys’ interests. Y10 students take part in the international self development program, the Duke of Edinburgh, allowing students to develop new skills, connect and develop initiative, independence and personal growth. This is a personal challenge, in which boys can choose activities which reflect their interests and passions.

Science programs take advantage of the 5.5 ha nature refuge on campus at Moreton Bay Boys' College. MBBC is a Healthy Waterways Award winner and Peter Doherty Science Award winner.

The College is an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School which is an internationally recognised inquiry-based curriculum developing students’ intellectual, personal, emotional skills and broadening the boys’ horizons to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.

Superb facilities in a bushland setting

Learning spaces at Moreton Bay Boys’ College are spacious, and purpose built to be oversized, to meet the needs of boys. Facilities include a Multi-purpose Hall, IT labs, Science lab with Experiment rooms, art room, design tech hub and music rooms. Recently installed is a 6m x 6m rock climbing wall. Classrooms are equipped with computers, data projectors and interactive whiteboards. The school has a BYOD policy encouraging the students to bring their own devices.
The stunning campus features an open, leafy environment, shady play areas and a 5.5ha nature reserve including a mountain bike track.It also offers shared use facilities of its nearby sister school Moreton Bay College including use of the pool, gymnasium, additional athletics and playing fields, and music hall.

Life adventurers, Life achievers

Interschool sport: A broad and diverse range of interschool sports are offered through the college and club sports such as athletics, cross country and sailing. In addition MBBC offers rock climbing as part of HPE classes, mountain biking and regularly offers students the chance to try adventure sports like windsurfing, archery, motocross, kayaking.

Co-Curricular sport and activities: A large choice of activities as diverse as Auskick, Tae Kwon Do, hip hop classes and one of Australia's only school based Mountain Bike Club on campus.
Co-Curricular general: An extensive range of activities range from chess, drama, minecraft club, model club, Lego, robotics, Leos, debating and many more.

Music: An array of Instrumental programs, choir, rock bands and various ensembles are offered. MBBC is one of the first schools in Australia to examine its students under the AMEB and London's RockSchool.
