Carmel Adventist College Primary is set in the beautiful surrounds of picturesque Bickley Valley, providing students with a peaceful and nature-filled learning environment.
A co-educational school, Carmel Adventist College Primary provides a comprehensive academic program from 3 year-old Kindergarten to Year Six.
Our school is small by design and philosophy, with most classes less than 25 students. We believe this enables us to better cater for the individual needs of our students.
As a smaller school, we have a warm and friendly family atmosphere with teachers and staff having genuine care and concern for the academic, social and spiritual needs of each student.
The Secondary school is less than a kilometre away, ensuring a seamless stable education for children.
Learning experiences at Carmel are designed to inspire and motivate young minds and bodies, encouraging the development of cognitive, physical and social skills.
Carmel Adventist College Primary values and celebrates the gifts of our students and encourages each and every one to share their gifts and use them to the best of their ability.
We actively promote the skills of collaboration, cooperation, thinking and problem-solving in all areas of learning, as preparation to meet the challenges of an ever-changing future.
To that end, we believe we are building a community of flexible, independent and self-motivated learners who share a life-long journey of discovery through real experience.
Carmel Primary's beautiful rural setting with modern facilities makes it an ideal location for childrens' education and development.
Most buildings have been erected in the last 30 years, with the most recent additions being:
* Library and Multipurpose Room 2009
* New Pre Primary Classroom 2012
* New Kindy Classroom 2014
* Two new senior primary classrooms are currently under construction.

The spiritual and emotional nurture of our students is fundamental at Carmel Adventist College Primary.
Pastoral care is provided by all of our teachers as they go about their daily routine in the classroom and in the playground. In addition to this, we have a Chaplain who is able to wisely shepherd our students along the path of life.
A Christian worldview is infused through the whole school curriculum. Teachers place great emphasis on building relationships with students that encourage mutual respect, cooperative learning and positive self-image.
Our Early Years programme has a strong focus on nature play in the early years, where formal education and the outdoors are combined, to help foster hands-on experience and lifelong learning.
The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen garden program is incorporated into the Early Childhood Learning Area and is gradually being rolled out in other Primary classrooms.
