Brighton Primary School is a government, coeducational primary school with nearly 800 students. It is located in one of Melbourne's inner bayside suburbs.
Brighton Primary School is more than a school. It is a community of shared values dedicated to maximising the learning outcomes for all students.
At Brighton Primary School we believe that each child has the potential to exceed expectations. Students are encouraged to question and apply their learning, think independently, consider different views and ideas and reflect on their learning to achieve even better results.
We are proud to be internationally accredited by the Council of International Schools and authorised by the International Baccalaureate (IB) to teach the Primary Years Program.
Learning and teaching is the core business of Brighton Primary School. Our job is done well when our students leave our school with the confidence to take up the opportunities that will allow them to become what they want be.
Brighton Primary's staff and students are equipped with first class resources. The school has interactive whiteboards, Smart TVs, student iPads and networked computers in all teaching rooms, purpose built music, art and library facilities, a science room and hosts a regional hearing unit. There is synthetic sports field and an athletics track as well as playground equipment for all age groups.
The comprehensive physical and outdoor education program includes camps from Years 3 to 6 and house sporting activities.
As well, we offer a comprehensive Arts program and our languages other than English are Italian and Mandarin Chinese.
